Tiago lives with his father, Raul, an old sailor haunted by historical defeats, and with his son, Manuel, a teenager who, living in a bubble, dreams with the preparation of a solitary, but erotic, trip to the cosmos. Karen is almost a specter between these three generations of men and has for a confidant a letterbox, in which she posts letters to her late husband, tales from a happy past life.
