Robert Kurtzman was born on November 25, 1964 in Crestline, Ohio, USA. He is known for his work on 杀出个黎明 (1996), The Bye Bye Man (2017) and Gerald's Game (2017). He has been married to Marcia King-Kurtzman since February 22, 2019.
Kurtzman was the first person to pay Quentin Tarintino to write a screenplay. For $1,500, Tarintino penned the screenplay for "From Dusk 'Til Dawn based on a short story Kurtzman had written about an action movie with the vampire element.
Grew up watching Harryhausen fantasy, Hammer Horror and Godzilla films on regular television growing up. Also a fan of cult directors like John Carpenter and regular guys like Steven Spielberg.
