Joe Gladwin was born on January 22, 1906 in Salford, Lancashire, England as Joseph Gladwin. He was an actor, known for Last of the Summer Wine (1973), Nearest and Dearest (1972) and The Wackers (1975). He was married to Lily Anne Wynne. He died on March 11, 1987 in Manchester, England.
For twelve years Gladwin worked as stooge to 戴夫莫里斯, working with Morris on the BBC radio show "Club Night", which transferred to television as The Artful Dodger (1959).
Strong Manchester accent. Had a lisp, causing the letter "R" to become a raspy throaty sound.
