Jean-Pierre Darras was born on November 26, 1927 in Paris, France as Jean Pierre Dumontet. He was an actor and writer, known for Le braconnier de Dieu (1983), 贵人迷 (1982) and 父亲的荣耀 (1990). He was married to Corinne Lahaye and Catherine Bauche. He died on July 5, 1999 in Créteil, Val-de-Marne, France.

In 1963, he recorded with 菲利普·努瓦雷 the French songs "Consuela", "Marche Grecque", "Mon Grand" and "Paris-Paname" which were written by Henri Betti (music) and 让·科斯莫 (lyrics).
